Golden Hour Summer Session!
Hello lovelies!
I have a little treat for you! I am now running a summer special until the end of September.

"Golden Hour" is what photographers LIVE for...really. It is that last hour or two before sunset, the light is rich and warm and it transfers beautifully on print.
Though it is very warm (to say the least), the summers in Phoenix are really beautiful that time of the day. We have some of the most amazing sunsets and rich tones that makes a 20 min session outdoors a piece of cake!
Utilize this special for any of the following:
Families
Babies/Children
Group Friend shoot
Engagements
Or just for Fun!!!
Time slots will fill up fast so call now! 602-750-0193

Holla at cha, Portland!
I am taking a trip to one of my absolute favorite places in the world....Portland, Oregon. I am going to visit one of my absolute favorite people in the world...my cousin Dallas (see year in review, she's awesome!)
I visit this wonderful city often and would love to venture that way more often. For some time, I have been thinking about meeting with local wedding vendors to see if I can find my niche in that market so I am currently scheduling appointments on August 15th to discuss any possible chance to market with vendors. If you a Oregon based vendor or know one who is, send me an email, I would love to chat during my visit, (cocktails even on me at the Vault in the Pearl!)
thank you my lovelies.

Patience is Golden
Hello all! It's been a little while, new posts will be soon to come. I just wanted to post a little update.
First things first, I am walking boot free! The nightmare is over and the beautiful sun is rising in my life. I truly have a new lease on my life and the direction I need to go to succeed in all aspects. I am truly humbled.
Ok, in light of the past few months, I have fallen a little bit behind on my post-edit production. If you have a wedding between March - present, please remain patient with me! I am working very hard to catch up and get you your photographs. I completely understand how excited you are, the gifts are all unwrapped, the bags are unpacked and the cake is gone...now you want your photos! I get it, really I do. I would be the same way, but please please please understand I am readjusting a lot of things in my life and need a bit more time. Thank you in advance.
As mentioned, new posts will soon follow! I have had some really beautiful weddings this season and can't wait to show them off to you!

Break a Leg!
So a bit (or more) time has passed since my last blog...hey, I warned you! I'm not the worlds best blogger. In this time there have been numerous changes in my life. About one month ago, I broke my ankle and leg. After a surgery and weeks of laying low and healing, I am up and moving, but still not walking. This may seem like an impossible feat, being an active person and a WEDDING PHOTOG! Well I would be lying if I didn't say it wasn't a challenge but one that I am up for! It's an interesting change to slow down and go back to the basics. I am they type of person that is always on the move and working very hard. This time has been a time for me to take it all in, the good and the bad. Admittedly, some days are worse then others but I still persevere.
I do want to assure all my upcoming couples, I am still working! I will be working with an assistant to help me and another photographer to shoot with me to ensure full coverage.
I want to thank everyone who has been so helpful and supportive to me. I am so blessed and amazed at the community of friends and family I have in my life.

Happy New Year, friends!
So apparently I am kind of a lame duck when it comes to this blogging thing. Well apparently isn't completely correct, I knew going in that I have never been much of a writer or habitual journaler so I knew issues would surface. I resolve myself to be better at this...I know I can!
Happy New Year Everyone! I am so thrilled, overjoyed, BESIDE myself for this new year. 2007 was one of the most interesting years to mark in the books thus far, it had it's fill of ups and downs. In light of this wonderful new year, I would like to take a moment and appreciate all that I can from this past year.
Here is my year in review:
2007 started for me at a Wedding! I was delighted in the possibility of more prosperity. Christine and Shane were one of the most loving couples I have met and I had an absolutely amazing time!

One of the most pinnacle moments in my life happened in 2007, I graduated college! Oh man was that thrilling! I worked my booty off and my hard work really paid off. I graduated Summa Cum Laude (top of my class) and have some incredible work to show for it, not to mention tons of knowledge. I had a lot of family come in for the occasion, many in Salt Lake City and my sister came from England.

it truly was a time of celebration, and boy did we! It was a week of friends and family coming together, it was amazing!

I'm throwing this picture in here for s's and g's, my cousin Dallas is totally one of the greatest people ever and I had to have her in here somewhere. This night we went out karaoke'n and actually got booed a little! We still laugh about it now.

My next adventure was one of a life time. I spent 5 weeks in Europe. I wasn't able to go as many places as originally planned to to house problems at the time ( the joys of home ownership came into full effect! ) but that didn't stop me! I spent a large majority of time all over England with my sister and brother-in-law and my dear friend Jo. Jo and I also spent a bit of time in Prague and goofed around England together, we were total dorks and I loved every minute of it! My time with her is something I will forever cherish.

My sister Ashley and me, being silly in her garden.

Jo, isn't she beautiful?!?

Soon after Prague, my love Paul came to England. This was really exciting cause it was his first time out of North America.

London

the Town of York

Saw Tegan and Sara in Leeds with my sister and got to meet them after the show!

this was my last night with my sister. It was very bittersweet. I was happy to go home to my dog, family and friends but every time I separate from my sister it is like leaving her for the first time.
While in England, I actually got the chance to photograph a wedding there. It was so fun and I met so many new people to call friends now, or should I say mates!

Soon after I came home, I was the main coordinator for my first group gallery show. I put so much of my heart into this project and it was a great success! I was actually asked to me a part of another show in 2008.
The focus of this show was alternative processing, which those who know me, know that is what fills my hearts desires.

install!

my eight pieces in the show, it is the beginning of my friends and family project in multiple gum bichromate

we had an amazing turn out on the opening night, thanks to all those who made that possible!
The year ended in a holiday celebration with good friends and great times!

Santa even managed to make it!

and his mini me too!

It wouldn't truly be a year in review without acknowledging woman's best friend, ie my pug Snarley, he is so very special to me and this little guy always keeps me going!

All in all, this year was a success for me, I photographed 35 beautiful weddings that took me all over this world, met some amazing people and had a lot of laughs.
I look forward to growing more and more each passing day!
